WCAG provides recommendations for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities. It addresses accessibility of web content on desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. Last version<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/2020\/WD-WCAG22-20200227\/#comparison-with-wcag-2-1\"><p>WCAG 2.2 was initiated with the goal to continue the work of WCAG 2.1: Improving accessibility guidance for three major groups: users with cognitive or learning disabilities, users with low vision, and users with disabilities on mobile devices. Many ways to meet these needs were proposed and evaluated, and a set of these were refined by the Working Group. Structural requirements inherited from WCAG 2.0, clarity and impact of proposals, and timeline led to the final set of success criteria included in this version. The Working Group considers that WCAG 2.2 incrementally advances web content accessibility guidance for all these areas, but underscores that not all user needs are met by these guidelines.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/2020\/WD-WCAG22-20200227\/#comparison-with-wcag-2-1\"><abbr lang=\"en\" title=\"Web Content Accessibility Guidelines\">WCAG<\/abbr> 2.2: Comparison with <abbr lang=\"en\" title=\"Web Content Accessibility Guidelines\">WCAG<\/abbr>2.1<\/a><\/cite><\/p>\n<h2>Novedades de las <abbr lang=\"en\" title=\"Web Content Accessibility Guidelines\">WCAG<\/abbr> 2.2<\/h2>\n<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 nuevas caracter\u00edsticas trae las <abbr lang=\"en\" title=\"Web Content Accessibility Guidelines\">WCAG<\/abbr> 2.2? Un nuevo <em lang=\"en\">Success Criteria<\/em> o criterio de conformidad:<\/p>\n<blockquote lang=\"en\" cite=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/WCAG22\/#focus-visible-enhanced\">\n<h3>Success Criterion 2.4.11 Focus Visible (Enhanced)<\/h3>\n<p>When a <a class=\"internalDFN\" href=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/WCAG22\/#dfn-user-interface-components\" data-link-type=\"dfn\">User Interface Component<\/a> displays a visible keyboard <a class=\"internalDFN\" href=\"#dfn-focus\" data-link-type=\"dfn\">focus<\/a>, all of the following are true:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Minimum area:<\/strong> The <a class=\"internalDFN\" href=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/WCAG22\/#dfn-focus-indication-area\" data-link-type=\"dfn\">focus indication area<\/a> is greater than or equal to the longest side of the bounding rectangle of the focused control, times 2 <a class=\"internalDFN\" href=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/WCAG22\/#dfn-css-pixels\" data-link-type=\"dfn\">CSS pixels<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Focus contrast:<\/strong> Color changes used to indicate focus have at least a 3:1 contrast ratio with the colors changed from the unfocused control.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Contrast or thickness:<\/strong> The focus indication area has a 3:1 contrast ratio against all adjacent colors for the minimum area or greater, or has a thickness of at least 2 CSS pixels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"issue-container-generatedID-22\" class=\"note\" role=\"note\">\n<div id=\"h-note-22\" class=\"note-title marker\" role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"5\">Note<\/div>\n<p class=\"\">A focus indicator that is larger than the minimum area may have parts that do not meet the 3:1 contrast ratio, as long as an area equal to the minimum does meet the contrast ratio.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><cite><a lang=\"en hreflang=\" href=\"https:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/WCAG22\/#focus-visible-enhanced\"><abbr lang=\"en\" title=\"Web Content Accessibility Guidelines\">WCAG<\/abbr> 2.2: Success Criterion 2.4.11 Focus Visible (Enhanced)<\/a><\/cite><cite><\/cite><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Accessibility Guidelines Working Group (AG WG) has published a First Public Working Draft of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.
